Winter had come to the neon light world of Traverse Town. Snowdrifts scattered across the streets, banks of the powdery frozen liquid lined the roofs and places were people did not tread often. Their surface was smooth and a thin hard shell protected them from imperfection, at least until passing children tackled them in a rush of pure joy and happiness. Then the shell would break and the delicate snow beneath would poof into the constant night.
Decorations of banners, garlands, glittering ornaments, and even more bright neon holiday lights covered the clock tower, buildings, lampposts, benches and even the little mailbox. The Item Shop was decked out, the three duck boys of course went all out, and they must of attacked Cid’s Accessory shop as well because it was nearly as lit up as Huey, Dewey and Louie’s.
